June 1 – Amazon intensifies push into Australian pharmacy with trademark application

May 31 – Of the 175,000 workers Amazon brought on board during the coronavirus pandemic, the company would offer permanent jobs to around 125,000 of the new pandemic hires, which equates to 70 percent.

May 29 – The online retail giant is in negotiations to lease the 2 Burlington Plaza office block in central Dublin, even as virus hits.

May 26 – Amazon is hiring for its massive distribution center in Deltona, which is expected to be completed later this year.

May 26 – Amazon announced a €3.75 million commitment to The Nature Conservancy in an effort to reduce climate change risks and increase species biodiversity in three German cities.

May 25 – Amazon launches food delivery service with “Amazon Food” In India, which is particularly relevant in present times as customers stay home safe.

May 22 – Amazon has decided to reschedule its annual Prime Day sales extravaganza to September, as the Covid-19 pandemic increases demand on the company’s warehouses.
