FBA Centers are now only accepting certain products. In response to the effects of COVID-19, Amazon is temporarily prioritizing which products be shipped into FBA centers. The policy may affect many of you.
These are the products that you can ship to FBA centers:
- Baby Products
- Health & Household
- Beauty and Personal Care (including personal care appliances)
- Grocery
- Industrial and Scientific
- Pet Supplies
Shipments created before March 17, 2020 will be received. The suspension of shipments for other categories is effective until April 5, 2020.

What does this mean for Amazon FBA sellers?
Amazon FBA sellers will not be able to create shipments to be received at Amazon’s fulfillment centers through Seller Central. Amazon will only accept essential items such as medical supplies and household products until April 6.
However, if your product is already on its way and/or in Amazon fulfillment center, you can continue to sell it.
Options you can exercise:
Amazon is encouraging sellers who typically sell FBA to use their own carriers for shipping products and to sell Fulfilled by Merchant (FBM).
We will continue to monitor the situation and provide you with as many updates as possible.
