Inventory terminology defined.

These are some of the terms that are used within SellerMobile’s inventory and restock tools:

  • Inbound retail – dollar amount, in retail value, of inventory that is currently inbound to the warehouse from a supplier;
  • Reserved retail – dollar amount, in retail value, of inventory that is reserved by customers;
  • Unfulfillable retail – dollar amount, in retail value, of inventory that is ordered by customers but cannot be fulfilled because inventory is not inbound/available;
  • Fulfillable retail – dollar amount, in retail value, of inventory that is fulfillable in current/inbound inventory;
  • Fulfillable units – the number of units that will be fulfillable in current/inbound inventory;
  • Inbound cost – dollar amount, in cost value, of inventory that is inbound;
  • Reserved cost – dollar amount, in cost value, of inventory that is reserved for customers;
  • Unfulfillable cost – dollar amount, in cost value, of inventory that is unfulfillable;
  • Fulfillable cost – dollar amount, in cost value, of inventory that is fulfillable;
  • Reserved units – the number of units that are reserved; nInbound units – the number of units that are inbound;
  • Unfulfillable unit – the number of units that are unfulfillable.
