Inventory terminology defined.
These are some of the terms that are used within SellerMobile’s inventory and restock tools:
- Inbound retail – dollar amount, in retail value, of inventory that is currently inbound to the warehouse from a supplier;
- Reserved retail – dollar amount, in retail value, of inventory that is reserved by customers;
- Unfulfillable retail – dollar amount, in retail value, of inventory that is ordered by customers but cannot be fulfilled because inventory is not inbound/available;
- Fulfillable retail – dollar amount, in retail value, of inventory that is fulfillable in current/inbound inventory;
- Fulfillable units – the number of units that will be fulfillable in current/inbound inventory;
- Inbound cost – dollar amount, in cost value, of inventory that is inbound;
- Reserved cost – dollar amount, in cost value, of inventory that is reserved for customers;
- Unfulfillable cost – dollar amount, in cost value, of inventory that is unfulfillable;
- Fulfillable cost – dollar amount, in cost value, of inventory that is fulfillable;
- Reserved units – the number of units that are reserved; nInbound units – the number of units that are inbound;
- Unfulfillable unit – the number of units that are unfulfillable.
